Brother Knights,

Andale Knights of Columbus will meet at the KofC hall on Wednesday, September 11th at 8:00 pm. We will start with a rosary followed by the meeting and conclude with refreshments.

We still have a few Kansas Knights of Columbus Religious Education raffle tickets available. Tickets are $100 apiece and only 2200 will be sold. Twenty-two prizes will be awarded as follows: 1-$30,000, 1-$10,000, 4-$5,000, 8-$2,000, and 8-$1000. Drawing will be held December 3rd. Proceeds of the raffle help to fund religious education programs throughout the state, including ours here in Andale. If you or someone you know would like one, contact me at 316-207-7032.

I want to give a huge thank you to all of our Brother Knights who got out and sold tickets as part of the Pro Football Frenzy Raffle Ticket Fundraiser! Especially Robby and Stephanie Spexarth, who for the past couple of years have coordinated this fundraiser for us. It looks like it is going to be another big success year, we sold just over 600 tickets this year. This will allow us to generously donate throughout the year and hopefully make some much needed improvements to the hall. Our council couldn’t do this without the support of you and our community.

October and November will be busy months for our Council. We will collect donations for the disabled with our Tootsie Roll Drive at one of the home football games (either October 4th or 18th) and after Masses on the selected weekend. We will also hold our Culture of Life Breakfast October 6th. The St. Joseph, Andale parish will again hold their Stewardship Fair and Chili cookoff the last Sunday of October. We will make a batch of chili for this parish event. In November we will hold our Memorial Mass and dinner for those Brother Knights that have passed in the past year. At this time, there are five Brother Knights that we will honor and remember. On the second Sunday in November we will hold our annual Turkey Shoot with food, pitch, trap shooting and raffle.

Brother Justin Reichenberger and his family are taking care of cleaning and booking the hall for rentals. If you need to rent the hall or know someone who does, please give them Justin’s number 316-258-1170.
