We still have 7 – Kansas Knights of Columbus Religious Education raffle tickets available. (see pg. 2) Tickets are $100 each and only 2400 will be sold. Twenty-two prizes will be awarded as follows: 1-$30,000, 1-$10,000, 6-$5,000, 9-$2,000, and 8-$1000. Drawing will be held December 3rd. Proceeds of the raffle help to fund religious education programs throughout the state, including ours here in Andale. If you or someone you know would like one, contact me at (620) 960-9336. The deadline for submitting tickets is October 15th, 2025.
November will be a very busy month for our Council. Please reach out to delegated committees below as we will need help to make these events a success.
Tootsie Roll Drive – October 24th-26th
Knights will be handing out Tootsie Roll’s during the Friday night home football game, Saturday after 5pm mass and Sunday after 8 am and 10 pm masses. Please reach out to Mark Vaughn (316) 641-6863 if you can help.
Parish Stewardship Fair – October 26th
We will be promoting our council with a booth at this year’s stewardship fair following 10 am Mass in the parish hall. Come out and support the efforts to get the parish involved and boost our recruitment of new members.
Andale Council #2217 Memorial Mass and Dinner – November 5th
Fr. Weldon will say Mass at 7 pm for our Brother Knights who have passed in the past year followed by a dinner at the Knights of Columbus Hall. We will be remembering Jerome Schippers Jr., Kevin Martin, Dr. Joseph Stech and Matt Eck. Please join us as we remember these men.
Turkey Shoot – November 9th
Every year our council puts on a good ole fashioned turkey shoot for the public and it’s a great time to enjoy some trap, food, cards, bingo, and raffle. The Altar Society will run the kid’s bingo again this year so that is covered. This event takes a lot of planning and manpower to run smooth so please reach out to the below committee head to sign up for a shift.

Culture of Life Breakfast – December 14th
Pancake and sausage feed in the parish hall from 8am – 12pm. Please contact myself or Cole Horner if you can help cook and serve.
Red Cross Blood Drive – December 23rd

If you have not been receiving the Knights of Columbus Flock notes text messages, please confirm your phone number with myself or Tony Veith and make sure not to block that number. This has been a great way to reach the council, and we will continue to use it for updates and events.
