Brother Knights,
Andale Knights of Columbus will meet at the K of C hall on Wednesday, June 10th at 7:00 pm. We decided at the May meeting to try meeting during June or July this year and see how it goes. We will have elections at this meeting for our 26-27 officers.
We have had some significant events over the last couple of months to two of our ordained Brother Knights. Rev. Monsignor Ivan Eck celebrated his 75th Anniversary as a priest in May. Also in May, Deacon Isaac Hilger was ordained and is now Fr. Isaac Hilger. Congratulate and thank both of them for their service to our Lord.
The Andale Knights of Columbus have started a bartending service for weddings and other social events. This started when Brother Alan VenJohn was married this past November and we have had several requests for our services since then. Do you have a friend or relative that would like to join the Knights of Columbus? Please contact me, (620-960-9336). We are talking about having an initiation ceremony in July or August. Discussion of dates will be brought up at the meeting.
If you have not paid your annual dues for 2026 (or prior years), please pay as soon as possible. Our dues allow the Andale Council to support many charitable causes in our communities.. Payments can be made on the St. Joseph – Andale parish website. If you have questions, contact Financial Secretary, Tony Veith at (316) 648-7180.
Brother Justin Reichenberger and his family are taking care of cleaning and booking the hall for rentals. If you need to rent the hall or know someone who does, please contact Justin at 316-258-1170.
