Brother Knights,
Our September meeting has been cancelled due to our council being asked to host the regional 4th degree business meeting during our meeting time. We will resume meeting in October on Wednesday 10/8/25 at 8pm.
We still have 13 – Kansas Knights of Columbus Religious Education raffle tickets available. (see pg. 2) Tickets are $100 each and only 2400 will be sold. Twenty-two prizes will be awarded as follows: 1-$30,000, 1-$10,000, 6-$5,000, 9-$2,000, and 8-$1000. Drawing will be held December 3rd. Proceeds of the raffle help to fund religious education programs throughout the state, including ours here in Andale. If you or someone you know would like one, contact me at 620-960-9336. The deadline for submitting tickets is October 15th, 2025.
I want to give a huge thank you to all our Brother Knights who got out and sold tickets as part of the Pro Football Frenzy Raffle Ticket Fundraiser! Especially Robby and Stephanie Spexarth, who for the past few years have coordinated this fundraiser for us. Another success this year, we sold just over 600 tickets this year raising just over 8k net profit. (see pg. 2) This allows us to generously donate throughout the year and hopefully make some improvements to the hall. Our council couldn’t do this without the support of you and our community.
October and November will be busy months for our Council. We will hold our Culture of Life Breakfast either 10/19 or 10/26. In November we will hold our Memorial Mass and dinner for those Brother Knights of our council that have passed this last year. We have also been asked to host the 4th Degree Memorial Mass and dinner on November 13th. Also, in November we will hold our annual Turkey Shoot with food, pitch, trap shooting and raffle. Typically, this falls on the second Sunday of November but we will firm up a date at the October meeting.

Brother Justin Reichenberger and his family are taking care of cleaning and booking the hall for rentals. If you need to rent the hall or know someone who does, please give them Justin’s number 316-258-1170.
